Mark, have just caught up on your blog, we were in la Trinite the day after you left! Not by boat, driving home from Spain. So just missed you. It was getting quite windy and was starting to rain, so you left at the right time. We also stayed in basin des chalutiers for a week or so on our French odyssey a few years back, really enjoyed being there, we particularly liked the market, lots to see and plenty of cafes around it. We spent Monday night on a friends boat in Roscoff, it was blowing a real hoolie and pouring with rain, a most unpleasant experience, but the company more than made up for it.
As for beers on arrival, don't you think Emma is just a bit young to partake in that tradition?
Enjoy the rest of the journey, maybe catch up with you when we return to Spain later this year.
Look forward to that LJS
We are now in Gijon. Here's my most recent blog post regarding the La Rochelle to Santander leg.

A quick update. We are in Baiona right now heading to Oporto in the morning.
A few days behind with the blog. Here's my latest post - https://magnumyacht.blog/2017/06/19/gijon-to-a-coruna/
I will do and thank you.If you are going to Douro Marina (which I hope you are) please say hello from Ocean Spirit to the lovely ladies in the office, particularly Eugenia. We have missed you by a fraction being stuck in Sada with an errant generator whilst you were in A Coruna.
Enjoy the rest of your journey and may all your passages be smooth ones.

Indeed we are, sitting out a windy spell. No updates, but the ais says your in the med... puerto banus.
Now you are in the Med, what's the plan from now on, if you have one that is! I suspect with your current rate of progress you'll have long passed us in Altea by the time we get back in September.
Your blog makes great reading, thanks for sharing it with us.
