We are finally on our way!

I'll be posting regular updates on my blog if anyone is interested in following our progress.

Hope the move goes well John. Nice view of the marina you have :) We'll be coming back for a few days every 4-6 weeks so I'll give you a shout.

Shall follow with great interest - the fish market by the Marina at Trinite is fantastic, as are the bakeries on the sea front. Have a great trip :)

Another wishing you and your family a safe and wonderful adventure.
I will be following your blog with much interest(envy):encouragement:

May I suggest loads and loads of photos as I can't read.:D

Great blog, a ship like that will see you and your family safe and comfortable all the way to the Med. What's your final destination?

I think the market is on Fridays if you are still there.
With your back to the water, head right for 200 metres and then cross the road and behind the buildings in the square. The small supermarket is also there. If you need an ok restaurant, then from HM office, go along the main road to the right towards the bridge, out past the marina hardstandings (ie about 15 mins walk). Sercouf I think, just by the roundabout. The stones at Carnac are worth a visit.

Best of luck to you and your family for the trip, Mark. Great start to the blog and I look forward to regular updates

Good luck on a fantastic adventure. I arrived back St Helier the day you left so missed the great escape of Magnum, as would have loved to watch how tight that was through the gates???

May all your passages be smooth. We are in Portosin, Ria da Muros and heading north on a more or less reciprocal of your intentions. Hope to catch up with you somewhere along the way. Like you we are in no hurry and are very much weather dependent. If they were all like today (1 metre swell and westerly 2 to 3 with sunshine all the way) we would be deliriously happy!
