I listened in & the skipper used his prerogative & elected NOT to berth port side too

Nice find - I had a container on that!

Turning through the wind would have been the wrong decsion so holding off and letting the wind blow her onto the berth was the way to go.

I wonder how long it took them to re-plan the discharge and loading. Or perhaps the software has a "berthed other side to" button?

I would imagine the skippers were keeping a close eye on their strain gauges

They don't really seem to have tug lines that are substantial. Must be good enough though
