Madness

Great vid of my 'home' waters!
Especially interesting as the project that I am working on at the moment is the planned reconstruction of the approaches to the old bridge that should start in the Autumn.

Amazing quality and could be a useful addition to a club event. How much would a drone like that set you back? Camera?

Sure makes me homesick for Poole! Was Charlie on board with you?, tell him I said to say hi! He ran PkYC Haven when we were berthed there with 'Heartbeat,' versions one and two, until 2011.. Given a chance we would be back in a heartbeat too.

I believe the drone cost in the region of £1200, the camera was a gopro but I'm not sure which one.

The mate that took the vid is a fully licensed drone pilot (yes really) and has full insurance.
I never new how involved it could be until speaking with him.

Charlie is one of my buddies but unfortunately he didn't fish this comp. He is still yard manager at PYC. We have a few boats going up to Torquay end of next week including Charlie and Wendy, I'll pass on your hellos

Nice production Martin, and quite dramatic audio.
It would have been good to get some footage at a higher altitude as well, panning around to take in the whole harbour and channel in relation to the coast, for those that are not familiar with the area.

The boat looks good in the water, congratulations on the acquisition, although I do realise you have had it for a while now.
