Mace in Greece

Well I thought it would be a long time before I posted anything on this forum - but this thread surprised me - so here's my Euro's worth.

I agree with NathanLee - give in gracefully. No-one likes the idea of being
robbed but there is a huge difference between going through the scenario
in your minds eye and a real life confrontation.

If your burglar knew you were on the boat then there's a good chance they're
armed with something that they're familiar with using and they are already
emotionally and psychologically prepared for physical violence.
You on the other hand will be in a state of panic.

If your burglar did not know you were on the boat then there's a very very
good chance they'll leave as quickly as they possibly can - the last thing you
want to do is hinder their progress.

If you manage to get hold of your spray, activate it and use it successfully
then you've got to take responsibility for them once they're incapacitated.
If they panic and end up in the water .. you've got to save them.!!!
The law is not going to accept that it was their fault they drowned.
