Can someone enlighten me, please? Why is this boat selling so cheaply? It looks like she's had a shed load of work done, with a single engine and displacement hull, she'd be relatively cheap to run. At just under 80' she could be owner & family crewed. The only downside I can see is mooring costs.
So what's the story? I know jfm alluded to her having been around for a while...

Same reason I've just purchased a British built vehicle which only 4 were built to the same specification which cost circa £181k new, 13 years old with 40k on the clock for £12k, basically the worlds gone mad.

There must be also other reasons I suppose, but surely the afterthought superstructure doesn't do a favour to an otherwise very nice looking vessel...

Access to the Detroit stroker which requires replacement will be a nightmare, love a challenge, however!
By the time you have replaced main engine with new Cummins or Deere, plus new Twin Disc box you then have to look at the rest of the engine room, gennies will also require replacement, plus work on upgrading fuel and electrical systems.
Likely there will be no chnge out of £110,000 for mechanical work by the time dust settles.
You then have to assess cost of gas axing the house on the top deck, perhaps along the lines of a Selene fly-bridge, perhaps a deck crane for toys. Jeeze this is interesting project, but will be some money pit.
