You have HW Portsmouth at 5.10am on Saturday, so favorable westerly going stream till 10am. LW at Poole Entrance is at 9.31am and you can enter with the tide till late afternoon. I would leave at 7, by time the tide turns you should be far enough for it not to matter too much? Considering the forcasted strength of the NE on Sat going through Hurst against the tide might be challenging?

For refrence - NP337 Solent West : Monty Mariner

“Challenging” indeed. Wind over tide, most particularly in a NE wind, is something to behold in the western solent. The Royal Solent have a cam on their website. It looks over the XOD moorings. If the boats have been taken into Yarmouth Harbour, you will most certainly spill your gin. So you’re left with little alternative but to motor in, close to Fort Albert.

FYI (from my site) Poole to St Albans Head : Monty Mariner
POOLE ENTRANCE
Local Low Water is High Water Dover -1:30
The big ebb runs from 3 to 0.5 hr before Local LW
The big flood runs from 0.5 to 3.5 hrs after Local LW
The small ebb runs from 4.5 to 5.5 hrs after Local LW
The small flood runs from 4.5 to 3.5 hrs before Local LW
The small ebb / flood rate are about half of the big ones
Slack slots are:
5 and 3 hrs before Local LW
at Local LW
4 hrs after Local LW
Note: Most tables refer to Poole Quay or Bridge where LW is 0.5 hr later than the Entrance

Also Poole : Monty Mariner Tide times might be useful

In case it may help we have just done Cowes to Poole today. Left at 6am, in Poole at 10.30am. Got to Hurst by 7.30, between 2.5 and 3.5knts of tide through Solent. You will have less tomorrow morning but still enough to get you to Poole. Went through North Channel, past Christchurch ledge had some tide against us but only 0.7knt and closer to Poole it was pushing us South so exactly were we needed to go. broad reach all the way, F4 gusting 5. Should be even better tomorrow ?
