Any one out there know of Crogan Marine in or near Lydney glos and i ask
as i just bought a dinghy and those details are stamped on the stern but i
can not find anything on the internet about it.

Crogan Marine (or was it Grogan Marine) was a small business at the top end of the Lydney high street. I remember them from back in the 70's. They had a small workshop where they prduced GRP dinghies, canoes and speed boats. I bought a canoe from them when I was about 12. I remember it being quite a ramshackle place and also exciting to my boyish eyes. I guess they ceased trading sometime in the 80's.

thanks for that info and no wonder i could not find any info on the internet and the dinghy i have
bought was stored in the middle of no where in a garage and looks like it has only been used once or twice but its not very thick fiberglass i noticed and i will more than likley build
it up a bit more.
