lundy dogs

A few years ago I spoke to the warden of lundy I regarding walking a dog on the sea shore has dog were not allowed to land on lundy I he sead thats was Ok phone to check told it not allowed anymore.Is the foreshore part of the Irland.:

If the warden says no dogs then please just accept it-no dogs, it's the reasonable thing to do,imho

Spoke with the Lundy Office barely a week ago who told me it was ok to exercise dog on foreshore. However with that restriction we chose to go elsewhere.

Please remember, the island, like all land, starts at the high water mark. They will know that they have no jurisdiction below that line.

We spent a day on Lundy last week. The Devil dog had a couple of runs below the HW mark, which kept everyone happy!
