Just glancing through the YBW archive and there is the 2006 Forum meet at Lundy which didn't happen as far as I can recall. Now assuming 'Blue shadow' is ready for next summer I was thinking of trying again.
Anyone else?

you could make it the 26th May that’s the day Ilfracombe Yacht club has its annual around Lundy Race
A few years ago we stopped at Lundy on a passage from Plymouth to Cardiff. By coincidence it was the Lundy race. We had a great time watching the race coming over from Ifracombe while having a few beers in the pub. The best place I found to watch them was from the outside toilet!

I would be interested if the dates fitted in around work. CBYC members can get a free landing pass from the club office.

As a new yachty but old fisherman I would love to go to Lundy . Did Oxwich alone this year and had only learnt to sail about a month or two before. I'm a cbyc member so would love to meet up with some fellow cruising members.

Lundy trip

Could you include me on this too. If it happens to be a date I can make I'd love to join in. It would be nice to meet a few Bristol channel boaters. New to the area.:)

Noticed you appear to live in the Midlands and keep your boat in Swansea which is the same situation as me. Are you in the marina or the yacht club moorings?

We all seem to start in Phase 3, I was right at the bottom of the tower and we would get spindrift blowing into the cockpit when the wind was hard from the West. Got a bit sick and tired of cleaning fag ends off the boat thrown from the flat windows as well. But after two years we got moved to Phase 1 - very nice spot now. Best thing to do is register an interest to move with the marina office, smile a lot at the staff and keep asking if anything has come free. They're quite helpful really and got us moved.
