Bit of a cheek this, but does anybody know a good pub/restaurant v close to Walton on Thames where one could take clients for a respectable lunch?

Nice hotel & restaurant in the village square at Shepperton Village and a pub with food down by Shepperton Lock.

San Marco in Hersham (less than 1/2 mile from Walton station) is a good Italian - v. friendly and reasonably priced.

If you want proper restaurant, Edwinns in Shepperton is very good but not walking distance.

The Swan in Walton is good riverside pub and closer.
