Here's the info about the photo above. Camera was on a tripod with a 55-200mm zoom lens (the slow 'kit' lens), and I released the shutter on the self timer.
Camera: Nikon D50
Exposure: 2 sec (2)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 200 mm
Exposure Bias: 0/6 EV
ISO Speed: 400
Here's another one:
Camera: Nikon D50
Exposure: 0.4 sec (2/5)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 200 mm
Exposure Bias: -5/3 EV
ISO Speed: 1600

Well we watched this from the comfort of the East Coast Gala Dinner, and had the waiter bringing out Brandies and Irish Coffees whil we stood there craning our necks. Excellent.
