I need to change the luff of a roller reefing genoa from 7mm dia to 5mm. Has anyone found a retail source for this stuff? I need about 15 metres but it's not worth getting a sailmaker on the case as it's an old sail.

Odd Kayospruce seem to list no prices and I can't see how to put stuff into a basket. One good thing, I am on the right track now and found this on Ebay:

I don't think that's intended for sails, it's for caravan awnings and such like. Wouldn't fancy it on sails.
Kayospruce have been transitioning their website (for the last several years). Give them a call, they are knowledgeable and approachable,well used to dealing with yachties who aren't sure what they want.

i don't think they sell it in short lengths as it comes on a reel for sailmakers to cut off as required. I think you will do better asking a sailmaker to cut off the short length for you.

I've bought several boat sized bits and pieces from them over the years. Usually I would just pop in and they'd get the bits if they had it.
You may well be right for mail order however.
