I have a new, lovely, hank on blade jib. The hanks seem to be bronze. What is the best way to lubricate these and keep them working smoothly?

Frequent rinse with fresh water .... and use ....
Lack of use is a big killer of them.
You can lub them - but then you'll tend to hold salt etc. which will then cause them to bind or corrode. Plus of course locally stain the sail.
