Having an American Boat with an American Workshop manual, everything in it is described using the American Manufacturers preferred supplier. Now I know that Quicksilver is available in the UK, but it seems to be in small and expensive quantities. Is there a more readily available "value" equivalent for:

Quicksilver Anit Corrosion Grease
Quicksilver Special Lubricant 101
Quicksilver 2-4-C Marine Lubricant with Teflon
Quicksilver U-Joint and Gimbal Bearing Grease
Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lubricant
Quicksilver Power Trim and Steering Fluid.

Quicksilver Synthetic Blend NMMA FC-W 4 cycle oil

Spray on Corrosion Guard

Do you need to use (and demonstrate the use of) "original" lubricants for warranty or something similar?

If not, try googling each of the lubricants you require until you find something sufficiently similar in description to satisfy your curiosity. Rather than simply its name and description, a product spec and a rating would be ideal to find acceptable alternatives.

For example, the high performance gear lubricant may show and API spec of GL-4 or perhaps GL-5. It should then show and SAE viscosity, for example 75W 90. Any alternative meeting the spec and viscosity should do the job without problem.

As referred to above, the castrol site has a "contact castrol marine for more information" button. Very helpful.

Good look with your search.
