Moved onto boat over jubilee week-end. At that time I put full gas bottle on board.

I have a gas powered fridge. I am a little concerned what might happen to food if gas runs out whilst I am away at work.

I know that I could probably weigh the bottle to judge how much gas is left, but are there any other (Simple) ideas that would indicate how much gas I have left?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

If you r away for the day only, one would assume that the fridge would not be opend while you are away, so it should retain all or at least most of the cold air. Just a matter of checking each eveing.

hi,
your cooking gas IS liquid

tap the bottle with a wrench or similar until you find the level,
mark it with whatever.
