Lowrance hook question

Did anyone here have a lowrance hook unit and output the GPS data to a DSC radio? I took my Garmin echomap off my little pilot to put it on my Cygnus and then bought a Garmin striker to replace it but it only outputs proprietary data and won't connect to the radio. Wondering if the cheaper lowrance hook models are crippled in the same way.

Maybe a quick read of the manual and/or spec sheet will give you the answer??
Normally the intro models are spec'd to the price!
