That was very helpful as the other side of Oulton Broad lock is a bit of an unknown to me....
There looks like a few nice places to stop which should make the trip just that bit more relaxing and enjoyable.

I'll keep you all posted how the trip pans out.. If i end up at Whitby it could be a Very long trip /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Royal Norfolk has plenty of room and wont turn anybody away, 2 or 3 miles out is ok for pots, use Sledway and via Cutler to Platters bouy for entance to Orwell, 8 hrs @ 5kts.
