Not really . Just put the heating on and open a window.
Ah! So you're the cause of all this Global Warming, that they keep going on about!

I do notice a reluctance among people to open a window in houses too. I always open the bathroom window at home after taking a shower to let the moist air escape and have the window ajar in the bedroom at night even in the coldest weather.
So yes - blame me for global warming if you like.
I am yet to find a condensation buster that can match a solar powered ventilation unit. They are small , suckout 20 cubic meters of air per hour, almost silent, maintainace free and models with the backup rechargeable battery also run at night. Not only will your condensation be a thing of the past, but no musty smells or small black spots in your boat anymore.
Trouble is that when condensation problems are maximum, ie winter, solar power is at minimum.

As an interim solution try this. Worked when we "moved into" an abandoned wreck of a cottage"
I used to do the same on land but now an open window means rain even from a slight shower gets in (and I get in trouble....:disgust![]()
Some sort of rain awning over an open hatch generally works for me.
Why do they build so many houses with only casement windows which can't be opened in the rain?
