My last boat had a VP 2003, and I found on this forum a list that a forumite had kindly compiled of part numbers and sources for non-OEM part such as oil and fuel filters etc.

Does anyone know of a similar list for Yanmar engines? (Mine is a 4JH5E version)

Thanks!

You can use Delco and Bosch starter motors instead of Yanmar at 1/3 of the price.

The OE Yanmar oil filter will have a part number among the Japanese writing. That number will translate into a pattern filter if looked up on a site with a cross reference facility. I use InLine Filters. My Yanmar primary fuel filter is 57 quid from a Yanmar dealer, twelve quid from InLine. Similar saving on oil filters.

From the price the filters easy to identify in your case, also used on a masda MX5!
