Phil had a long week on DAy skip courses culminating in he and I doing a late day charter yesterday, so today as it was dead calm and sunny took wives and dogs etc out for a spin in the Fairline (as it had more fuel and Neils away you see)
Anchored in little bay near Estepona, and sampled me new snorkel and flippers, to inspect the bottom of the boat.
Anyways Phil got the little Zodiac rib out never been in one of them so I had a go, lots of fun. Ribs only about 3m with a 4 stroke Evinrude 8hp outboard.
Phil reckons it might be a bit heavy for the little rib. Am inclined to agree cos I had to put as much weight as poss on the front to stop it climbing the hill, weird feeling how it suddenly shoots forward once on the plane. Didnt realise they were such fun though. Have to get one of those. Great day out.
