Just be aware there are some very dubious commentators on these forums from people who wouldn’t know a boat from a bathtub! The more complex the question the more doubtful the responses. So any advice suggestions etc double check. Sorry it sounds obvious but when you’re enthusiastic and want a response sometimes you want to hear what you want to hear!Having said that there are also a myriad of obviously knowledgeable members!

The rules of Internet forums:-
1 ask six people, expect seven answers
2 ask what brand of butter is best, expect to be told you should be buying margarine
3 specifically state you don’t want to discuss something but someone will still bring it up
4 sooner or later someone will accuse someone else of behaving like Hitler

5… (add your own here…)

Well it is in fact the advice that matters. I try where possible to suggest alternatives to the general advice. ie every one says buy a new one. I would rather discuss bodging the old. Not that i would want people to follow my advice but just to encourage thinking out side the box. I am a bit dismayed at Whitehorse comments. I think there is a wealth of info available for free. Some is good some is worth what you pay for it. As with all things you must make a judgement. ol'will

Oh that’s a shame not all the members live up to your high standards. Perhaps we need two forums, one for those you believe meet your standards and another for the less well versed.
