Lost Yeoman Plotter (thanks Royal Mail..)

I'm reviving this old thread to add a bizarre postscript.

Today, 18 months and 5 days after I sent the parcel off the Jersey, the postman knocks on my door and hands me my Yeoman plotter, still perfectly packaged and in the same condition as on the day that I posted it!

I wonder if RM will want their compensation payment back? If anyone wants a Yeoman plotter I have one here all boxed-up and ready to send..

What species of Yeoman and does it have any chart data stored in it? Are you still happy with £50? :)

(Also stand by for all the posts from people who haven't read the thread trying to tell you all over again about how to claim the compensation :) )

It's a Yeoman Navigator Pro, chart memory was cleared. Only last week I remember deleting the photos that I took of it for the Ebay ad. but I may have them on another PC somewhere. I don't want to open the box particularly but it looks to have had a very easy time of its adventure.
£50 +post would be fine but I am going to give RM a week or so just to be sure that they don't want the £65 back.
I'll happily PM you when I'm good to go if you'd like it?

Thanks, but I'm looking for one that still has the Imray folios in its memory. I have one with no charts, I put them into the user library manually, but it would be nice be able to use the proper chart numbers as when they were originally supplied.

Since the memory is battery backed, I suspect by now most have lost their charts at some point. Would be nice to find some old documentation on how they were uploaded, I have access to all the tools and techniques likely to be needed to do it, but there's probably only two or three people in the world who know...

Last August I bought an oil filter off ebay, it never arrived, I jumped up and down, they refunded me. Yesterday it arrived with the postie, perfect condition with invoice and post mark last August. Its been somewhere! I wonder if a wagon load got sidelined somewhere?
