LOST CONTACT



We have lost contact with Alastair and his yacht and he may have been in Portuguese waters. Any help you or your contacts can give would be great. He has an EPIRB but did not register it. We have notified Falmouth Coastguard and it is incident 110.



Type Golden Hind 31, Sailing Sloop. 1979 bilge keels.



Name Golden Dawn (of Kent)



Owner Alastair Cruickshank. 26 years old. Tall (190cms); thin; blonde.



Call Sign 2 Y T T



This boat was last heard from on October 24th 2013 when she was in Sada, NW Spain close to “A Coruna”. The owner’s plan was to go south and probably to Caribbean.



Any news of sightings or information would be gratefully received on nickryley@uwclub.net

Seems she has gone missing again. Just received a Navtex message asking for
all ships to keep a lookout.

Seems to me that this chap likes getting lost or does not want to be found.
All the same I hope he is well.
