Last time the club went to Limehouse on an organised cruise we were really looked after by the staff.
There did however appear to be a less than frictionless relationship between the member of staff operating the bridge and the one operating the lock.

I have noticed that a few times over the years, does the lock keeper work for CRT and not the marina or something?
We were booked in one evening and received a phone call from Limehouse at about 6pm asking if we were still coming, we said yes but we are still below the barrier, we were requested to speed up as the lockie wanted to go home, the tidal window should have given us another 4-5 hours or so.
I guess no shows would really ***s them off if they stay late and nobody appears.
