Er, The Lord Mayors Show has not yet happened - its on Saturday 12th November, so no formite will have a photo of a future event!!

The Lord Mayor will arrive at HMS President (RNR establishment, not the old ship) at about 0900 on that day.

Many thanks to all the people who replied,i have found a couple of pic's on here which was useful.
I was stationed by the LFB fireboats leading the historic section so further ahead than you than you guys.
Hoping to get invited back next june for the main event ?

"the historic section "

Would that be the classic Thames boats who failing to leave on time and caused no end of fun and games for the 40 odd leisure boats parked at Imperial :)

"oldgit"

Thanks for your comment oldgit
I feel I may have been sucked in by your comments...to that end may I gently remind you of the start times and order of march as published by the organizers ?
I think you will find that the "tupperware navy" slipped their moorings far too early even before the royal barge had passed you ?
That caused mayhem and lots of *******ings from the queens harbour master via the radio to get out of the way of the procession !Once we could get on the radio of course because one of your chaps was waffling on ch72 to all his mates ?
Enough said and look forward to seeing you there next year :-)

Please Sir,it was someone elses fault :)

"I think you will find that the "tupperware navy" slipped their moorings far too early even before the royal barge had passed you ?!"

We were only following orders M,lud. :)

Strict written instructions from our big chief NOT to depart the moorings until 14.45
and to form up behind Southwark at 14.58,which we obeyed to the second,as for the
running commentory ....:)
