Lopolight Stern Light - 180° ??

Was looking at LED nav lights for my boat and spotted a seller on ebay selling a Lopolight 180° light as a stern light - I understood it was 135° for a stern light - who is correct? I checked on the Lopolight site and although they call the 225° light as a steaming/masthead light they don't describe the 180° light as a stern light.

225° for a masthead, aka steaming light.

Two of the 180° lights can be used together to create a 360° all-round light ........... it says on Lopolights web site!

Thanks for clarication Vics - I contacted the seller about this but he claims to have fitted lots of these 180° lights as stern lights on boats which have passed 'multiple class checks' .

Probably not a big deal but the stern light will be visible at the same time as the sidelights and masthead light from abeam to 22.5° abaft the beam when it should not be.

Does not matter how many he has fitted he is wrong. Anybody fitting lights to boats ought to know the regulations .... rest of sentence deleted so as not to get banned by the moderators,.
