The pre-purchase survey on our Sadler 29 bilge keeler advised that there was "evidence of movement" on one of the keels and advised that at the end of this season it should be removed and re-bedded. While there is no "evidence of movement" on the other keel, expert opinion I have consulted suggests that I should have both sides done at the same time.
Does anyone have any experience of a job like this and are there any ideas on cost? I have been given quite a wide range of estimates.
