As per title, I´m looking to buy a Princess V50. Circa 2002-2004, ideally with 715´s and in the region of €200k, less would be better! I´ve seen quite a few advertised on the main "boats for sale" sites but it seems that a lot of these ads don´t get removed once the boat is sold. I´ve emailed a few brokers advertising but without response. If anyone happens to know of one for sale, please let me know. I´m based in Southern Portugal and not expecting to find much here but Spain , Balearics and even France would be ok.

Thanks in advance.

in my experience brokers are often not good at replying to email enquiries. Might be worth calling.

If you can wait until Easter there is a huge second hand boat show in Empuriabrava, Costa Brava. Meantime it’s worth googling boat brokers in Empuriabrava, there seems to be always boats for sale in the agents windows.Might be lucky and find a V50

Thanks David, I´m not in a rush but just thought now might be a good time to buy, the closer we get to warm weather again I fear prices might go up even further.

Just in case you are interested in the link which I use as an example. Probrava have got a poor reputation for after sales service so assume you will get none.

Considering current residuals it will be a bit hard going for a sub 200k Princess V50 with 715s. The market will not change any time soon.

A boat which might be in that budget and has a better hull would be a Sunseeker Camargue 50. She is also a bit larger.
While Fairline Targa 52 in open version also are sometimes found in around the 200k mark.

Hi PYB,

Thanks for your response. Interesting that you mention the Sunseeker, the Camargue 50 was the other boat I considered but it appears to be around 16m and that would be a 4k hike in marina fees. The marina I intend to berth on has a 15.5m option or then move up to 18m. I would prefer to spend 4k on fuel or fixing stuff.

It is correct the Camargue 50 is 54 ft plus if I remember, so she is just above sixteen meters.
