Looking forwards

For a step to climb aboard, check out the Dan-Fender Fender Step: FenderStep™ - DAN-FENDER . We have one for our Maxi 999, it makes climbing aboard a doddle, even with one hand full of shopping. But get a blue or black one, the new white one we have got very scruffy-looking very quickly; the previous blue one was fine for about 10 years before the rubber started deteriorating and going sticky.

Well OK, dual function, though in the picture not both functions at the same time, since its at the wrong height for fendering, though I suppose it wont always be.

OTOH if its the RIGHT height for fendering its too low to be a step and you run the risk of getting your foot crushed if you try and use it as one.

Mind the gap.

A strong bucket upside down would also be dual-but-not simultaneously functional, and would be cheap, or if you use a scrounged-up oil etc pail, would be free, and come with a lid, which might allow it to be ballasted for high winds.

Oh wait...dockside seat, Oor Wullie Wandsworth stylee. Triple function then.
