Looking for Yanmar/Kanzaki KM2P / KM3A with 3.22 or 2.62 ratio

Hello everyone,

I currently have a 3GM30F plus KM2P with 2.21 ratio which is not a good match for my classic full keel sailing boat and need a gearbox with a larger ratio, 3.22 is preferred.

Either purchase or trade (if that kind of luck exists). If someone knows a shop that could rebuild with a different ratio that would also be an option.

Hi Stonecan it would be easier to replace the the gearbox if you look around there were many GM series engines that were sold i have found this one on ebay Kanzaki KM2P 3.22 Transmission - GM & YM Range | eBay

You will be able to sell yours no problem....oh and dont forget the ratio in astern is also 3.22:1

Did you find the gearbox? I happen to have one with 3.22 gear ratio but need one with 2.21 for my second engine in cat.

Do you still have the 2.21 transmission? I would be interested in purchase or trade with a 2.6
