Looking for \"nice\" fire extinguisher sign...not Liberarche

I have three lockers on the flybridge and aft deck that contain fire extinguishers.

The only signs I can find are the usual glossy plastic crap...which fade nicely in the sun and also spread green dye across your nice GRP when you are polishing and rub over them by accident cos the colour is not "locked" into the sticker.

So....I am looking for a "nice" fire extinguisher sign - perhaps chrome/aluminium with painted inserts?????

I haven't posted this on the usual font of weird knowledge PBO to avoid the ridicule of a "pretty" sign...but actually all I want is something decent. Something about mobo owners is that they occassioanlly spend more than thruppence and don't desperately recycle everything in the "I made a cross channel ferry out of a baked-bean-tin" style.

What do Ferretti / Sunseeker 37m / Benetti use????

Doubt it's a 50p sticker.

Have a look at door sign makers, they have green white green plastic sandwich which can be engraved with anything you want.

The problem with 'pretty' engraved stainless or chromed signs is that they're not visible in the dark - if a fire kills your power, for instance.

If you never move from your marina berth, and are just after some 'bling' for the boat, fine.

If you're more interested in safety, I recommend a photoluminescent sign - the colours won't run - from Maritime Progress
