Bora Da from wet and windy Walesland!

I am looking for some bunk cushions for the Grumpy Uncle. Is there a manufacturer that anyone uses?
The Grumpster is only a fishing boat, a Colvic 22, so I realy dont need your top of the range, designer styled, hand made by dusky maidens type of cushions. As long as they are waterproof and wipe-able I am sure they would do.
All the people I have contacted seem to think I want to replace the cushions of my million pound Sunseeker judging by the prices they offer!
Cheap and cheerfull please!

Many thanks.

TDPB.

You could make them yourself but to be honest you won't save as much as you think if you plan on using marine fabrics etc. foam is quite pricey on its own have a look at Hawke house for costs. If you fancy a go take a look at my blog, I reupholstered mine recently although didn't need to cut new foam which would be a PITA due to the various angles on a boat.

Thanks for the replys...much appreciated.
I have seen some reasonably priced cushions for garden seats/swings ect in various outlets, b+q, the Range ect, so am thinking of these and a decent waterproof cover made to fit?

I've used some Lidl deckchair cushions, the thicker kind and they work fine. Wrong shape for the forepeak though, I'm using some ill fitting ones at the moment but have some foam from activity mats which I will I intend to cover with material from picnic blankets as I have a few around and they seem waterproof - colur is tartan green so not attractive.

Ah yes...good old Lidl!....Seen them in there a long time back and did'nt give it a thought then...grrr!
Cheap enough for my needs, and if I can cover them in pvc or such like it will be just the job! A roll of pvc and a roll of sticky back velcro could do the job.
