It largely depends on budget, if you're after a cheap yacht then boatshed or apolloduck, at the other end of the scale I'd look at more specialist places. Ancasta don't seem to put every boat on the aggregator platforms immediately, for instance, so if you want an AWB then you may need to regularly check several sites.

What type of yacht are you ideally looking for @Wansworth ?

I know that you have a soft spot for the older types of twin keel yachts - or is this going to be a fairly radical change?

If a particular type really takes your fancy, simply type in to Google something like 'Westerly Centaur yacht for sale' and see what comes up. (I just chose a Westerly Centaur at random, as they are so popular).

I have resurrected my Spanish certificate of capitalino!..........The world is my oyster but here in the rias boats for sail are few and far between and the small ones even more so.There are two possibilities either find a small 24 footer somewhere between Coruna and Vigo or go back to the Uk and sail it back a whole different kettle of fish.Probably an idea boat for us would be a humble westerly centaur,a boat quite capable of sailing the seas round Galicia in fine weather and easy to store on land and not too big..It’s a question of looking but small boats are at least double the price they are in the Uk so maybe a westerly 26 sailed from the Uk,depending what the yacht agent/gestora says about the legal side............time yet we are all pinned down with Covid so time to dream?
