I am running out of time to finish off winter jobs on my boat, and so am looking for someone who can redo the plumbing on my 46 footer. I fitted a new pump and have most of the bits needed, just need someone who will do a decent job running (PEX) pipes from the new pump to the galley and heads.

Any recommendations? Obviously doesn't have to be a proper plumber, I guess any general boat builder type would do.

Cheers,
Ed

Finding anybody this side of August would be a win. I have a couple of spare buckets, or there is always Force 4 at QAB.

I confess the thread title made me smile. One of my Dad’s old Naval friends, an engineer, had a fairly stellar career, ending up as an Admiral.

My Pa used to take great delight in introducing him to people at parties, with “Do you know John ? He’s a plumber from Portsmouth” . The poor chap would then spend the evening fighting off queries about problems with septic tanks etc…….
