Is any one planning to be out on the Orwell on Sunday?
I am moving Dove over to Suffolk Yacht Harbour for Shotley to get some work done.
My usual Crew is unavailable so I am single handed.
I wonder if some one would be kind enough to pick me up from SYH and dro me off at Shotley on Sunday Afternoon.

Hi Clive

If you don't have any luck I could possibly follow you over in mine & then and we sail back.

Thanks David.
If there are no other offers I will PM you in a few days.

My Thanks to David (dolabriform) for the lift back from SYH.
A great sail back on Free Wheel!

Dove now in the care of the Team at SYH for a couple of weeks - Due back in the water on Monday 2nd October.
I will be looking for a lift from Shotley back to SYH around then.

The main issue with using a dinghy for the trip is storing it safely back at Shotley.
I need to repeat the trip in reverse some time next week when SYH have finished the work.
One option will be to get the ferry to Felixstowe and a 77 bus to the top of the SYH road and walk the mile down there.

Shotley have a secure dinghy storage area (on the hard below the water tower/martello tower

I cannot work you out.........you do not have a dinghy ????????? but there again you have a Jack Russel (my favorite dog) or something that looks like a Jack Russel.
