I have a Powles 42 that needs lots of work doing to it but at the moment she is lying in Cardiff and is too far away to be able to spend more than a few hours at a time working on her.
Am currently living in Uley near Dursley so looking for a fairly cheap dry yard that can lift up to 20,000kg in this area. The only one I can seem to find is Sharpness shipyard but they have no room for her. Loa is 12.57m with a beam of 4.25m.
Any advice welcome, Thanks.

Can't find that one, do you know any more about them? Ironically just up the road from Sharpness marina is John Shipp, but they store caravans.
Anywhere you will have to pay for your crane, best thing I’d get off your arse and go and ask, they will tell you where to go.

You might have luck asking around at local marinas or boatyards since some have lifts and storage areas that could work. Also, asking fellow boaters in your area could lead to good recommendations.

You might want to check out EZ Dock for a low-maintenance and modular option if a fixed dry dock isn’t what you're after.. Also, asking fellow boaters in your area could lead to good recommendations.
You are 2 years late.
Yep, Im sorry, btw their setups are easy to customize and could work well depending on your boat size and access needs. I’ve seen them used in places with tricky water levels, and they seem to hold up nicely over time.
