Hi
Although my boat is moored on IoW, it will spend some time on the non tidal Thames and I am looking for a Boat safety Certificate, can anybody recommend a reasonable chap to give my boat a once over.

Probably be cheaper to get it down on the Thames but if you're not going to be there for long, I think 50 ish days, you can self cert
Check out the BSS boat safety scheme website for more details
In order to comply you will need little stickers identifying gas shut off tap, fuel shut off, battery isolator etc some folk don't like the look of them on their own boat

Did you need a BSC at Brizzle?

Marlene can I make just one suggestion. Ask the BSC inspector on the phone if he has done your type of boat before. We got charged £40 for just coming down to say it would need lots of uncovering of pipe work removing panelling etc etc to complete a survey. Basically £40 wasted.
