Someone recently hit the stern of our boat, catching the stern anchor chain and in the process ripping the hinged cover off of the chain pipe.
I can find countless sources for replacement chain pipes, but they are either flush or 90 degrees and the original chain pipe is 45 degrees (see photo) and that makes a huge difference in how easily the chain feeds down into the locker simply under gravity when hauling in the stern chain.
I fear that a 90 degree chain pipe will not allow the chain to be easily fed into the locker, making the process quite a hassle, and a flush chain pipe won't allow the stern anchor chain to feed smoothly out when needed.
Is anyone aware of any sources for a 45 degree angled chain pipe? Preferably alloy, but SS is also acceptable. Even used in good condition would be of interest.
