This may be a silly question, but what exactly can the keeper on the island do if people - whether en masse or singly - choose to land on an adjacent bit of land owed by someone else? What does he do?
Well I think at the moment the owners of the *island* not the foreshore don't really seem to acknowledge the difference. I haven't been there personally since this kicked off but apparently the "security guard" is polite but instant that you can't land. As you say "we" believe it has nothing to do with him but he is probably only doing what he has told.
What can they do? Well I can't see the police being interested in turning up. If you get burgled it takes a week or so to turn up so I can't see "stepping on sand that doesn't even belong to me" being top of their agenda.
Guess we might know more later today when the invasion force get's back !
Presumably they could try to take you to court - and I assume be unsuccessful.

[/ QUOTE ] I think the only person who could take you to court would be the Queen (or presumably the Crown Agents) for trespassing on Crown Property. If that happens, I think we should call Her Maj to the witness box, because we know what happens when starts to look likely....... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
