does anyone know if an inland water transit is possible via rivers and canals from
london to liverpool for a 10m cruiser with 2.5m beam 1.5mdraught and 4.5m airdraught?????

Nope not on. Canals are max beam 6ft10inches and air draft is only 6 ft.

You'll have to go the long way round. Or get a bayliner and go flat out to the first bridge or lock then it'll be the right size.

That sounds like one hell of an air draft: is it all fixed? There are in fact "broad beam" routes covering much of England which would accommodate your boat if the air draft were say 2.5 metres, but a complete transit would not be possible due to the odd narrow beam bottleneck in the Midlands. You could however (again assuming that you might be able to reduce the air draft from 4.5 netres) reduce the sea journey by going up the East Coast to the Humber and then inland across the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.

Well only if you feel that a boat with a 2.5m beam, and a total height (draft + air draft) of 6m might have stability problems...

4.5 metres sounds a lot...

can you lower the mast or does it need the sails to move it along?

seriously, if you mean an air draft of 3 metres (ie 4.5 in total minus 1.5 under water) then you may get some of the way but as said elsewhere there are some bridges you just won't get under unless you can lose some more height

Mmmm I thought the dimensions seemed a bit weird and the question a bit obvious, but I maybe I'm being a bit cruel or a BBshark.
Converting those dimensions to English thats 32ft by 8'1''ft by 14'5''ft air draft!!, from London you could go up the Grand Union but at Birmingham you hit the narrow gauge (6'10'ft beam max) locks so your stuck, air draft would in practice be only 8ft all the way, despite what the guide books say, and you will run aground alot, if not touching the bottom then plenty of shopping trolleys, old cars etc.
You could go up the Thames and across the Kennet and Avon to Bristol, then up the Severn, but again you hit the narrow stuff, so short answer no way.

Of course no ones asked the obvious question. Why do you wnat to take your boat to Liverpool?

Can't think of any reason at all unless he's eventually going to try to smuggle it into Jockland and flog it to nick.

He could go to Boston, up the Fossdyke and Trent to the Ouse and hence to Leeds/Liverpool.

The principle that any route avoiding the Humber must be an improvement.
