The forecast is for North west winds all next week, great for getting to Oostende but we don't fancy a 15 hour motor back against it so alternative plans. Tollesbury for the pool, the sailing on the Blackwater ......... or instead an adventure going up the Thames to Limehouse? Any trip advice for the Thames - I guess stay in Stangate and leave an hour before low water to get into the Thames for the flood? Apart from Tollesbury what else is there for the nippers to 'do' in the Blackwater?

Personally, I love the trip up the Thames, and Limehouse rather than St Katz is an excellent call. Limehouse has a DLR station very adjacent. Despite working with o view of the Barrier and cable car, I never tire of the view of the Thames from either on or by it

Brightlingsea for beach and great ice cream, Heybridge for taxi to prom park and/or dinghy ride to tesco and lovely park opposite tesco. We might make it round to join you later in the weekif boat is all ok, hopefully going in water today or tomorrow
