There has been some work vessel activity this week near Foulgers Gat in preperation for the start of the London Array windfarm construction. I think a wave rider buoy has been or is about to be put down in that area. I'll post more details when I get confirmation. This sends wave height data back to the traffic controllers office so they know wave height on site.

The construction offshore isn't due to start until Feb 2011.
