Lofrans Panther Clutch Removal

Anyone taken apart a lofrans panther? I'm struggling to get the inner clutch cone and the warping drum off. The exploded diagram (for a tigress) and all videos I've seen they seem to just slide off, but I must be missing something as mine don't seem to want to come off the shaft. The clutch has a small amount of movement fore and aft but not along the shaft. The warping drum won't budge and manual override has a little movement, I think the dog clutch is gone as the manual override does not work, it will not move fore and doesn't bite when moving aft.

I don't know the Panther, but removing the drum and clutch on my Lofrans winch is not hard. I find the easiest way is to use two screwdrivers to lever the cone up from below, when the even application of force makes it come free.

Looks similar to our Lofrans Cayman. It is supposed to slide off easily, but: On ours some baboon had neglected to service the clutch and abused it by tightening it up completely so it didn't slip on overload. The result was that the key had distorted the keyway and the inner clutch cone was jammed in good and proper. Took me half a day of various brute force attempts to get it off, but once off I was able to clean up the shaft and it's been working well ever since. So have a close look at the key, it's likely twisted or the keyway distorted. If so, good luck wrestling it off!

My Lofrans Cayman has I believe a similar clutch design and after s/h purchase when I tried to service it I could not remove the inner clutch without the aid of an angle grinder. Application of some heat was tried before the grinder was used. The problem was that described above by Yngmar, so I needed a new inner clutch cone and a new key. The key way although a little enlarged seems adequate although care will be required to avoid the key deforming again.

I am very interested in your experience with your Lofrans clutch cone and I would be glad if you could please share some more with me as I have the same problem.
I can't extract the clutch cone, so may I ask how you did? What do you mean with various brute force?
Did you extract the key first or the cone first? Did you leverage from the small gap between the base and the cone?
I'm asking you because apparently my force is note brute enough
