This is not the nicest lock keeper awards.
The award is for the best kept lock.
It used to be so, however:-

Since EA destroyed the gardens (for some locks) for H&S reasons, the emphasis has moved away to a more general view.
Makes it very difficult to give an unbiased opinion...

Steady H you are in danger of knocking that Shead bloke off the 'blowing my own trumpet' award.
Seriously will pop down and have a look once I've sorted out why my stbd. engine insists on emptying its coolant into the bilges.

I had that problem. Turned out to be a crossover leak between raw water and coolant. PM me if you want more info. What engines?
