I think the frozen winter days may have damaged my water system pressure pump as it keeps tripping out. To check it I need to find the thing though. Does anyone know where it's located on a Hardy Seawings 305?

Not always easy to follow pipework on a boat - same as following wiring - but found it forward of the battery box under port coaming. Need narrow shoulders to access. Pump is burned out so bought an economy pump from EBay - it had no shut-off mechanism so blew off the pressure release on calorifier. Resulted in one soaking wet friend who was fitting it for me (I didn't fit in the gap). Asked EBay for a replacement/refund and they asked for a video of the problem!!! I think they wanted to see Trevor struggling to get away from the flood! The new pump wasn't fitted with any mechanism to shut off when pressure peaked even though it had a wire to a microswitch.

Appreciate it all costs, money, but the clue is in ‘bought an economy pump from eBay’
Fitted in a small place that you cant get in yourself, you’re a masochist :)

Depends what pump he got. Microswitch might not be working or the cut off pressure is set to high. That’s usually adjustable but we need to know what he bought :):):)
