I've posted a 'wanted' post for 10M of 8mm anchor chain in Suffolk/Norfolk. Alternatively is there anywhere local to buy some new?

I have a large bucket of chain that is going spare, but it is 6.5mm - If that was any use it, most of it, could be at Shotley this weekend?

Very tempting Gary, thanks, but size of boat and current chain suggests 8mm minimum. Thanks also to others for EYE marine, might resort to new stuff but as you may have guessed I am looking for a cheaper option first!

Eye marine are trade prices in my experience. Certainly less than a chandlery. Very knowledgable and worth every penny

Excellent service there, they also do ropes, spliced as you wish, wayyyyy cheaper than Jimmy Green.

Apologies for butting in, but in readiness for getting my 21ft boat finished I will be requiring chain. Will this still be available & I'm based in North Essex.
