can anyone remember how to operate a lo-kata watchman? I have been given one and have installed it, charge light lights up, but where do you keep the dial that says 'local, distant, alarm'? I know from internet searches how to operate the rest of the unit but do i keep the dial at alarm, then when alarm sounds do i switch it to distant or local to see how close the radar is, or is the alarm setting on the dial there to test the alarm, although the alarm doesn't sound when switched to alarm. I am not yet in an area where there is shipping or radar so can't really experiment. Just need to know where to keep that dial at when underway. Many thanks in advance.
