I've found of these above the headlining in the coachroof - its like a fat flat pancake about 200mm diameter. I assume it does what it says on the yellowing label, ie works as a FM antenna, and hope to find the end of the old co-ax. But before I rush around trying to make the thing work, does anyone know if its any good?

Yes, I've had one for 21 years and get superb, omnidirectional radio reception with it. Ours is fitted to the 'roof' of one of our saloon lockers, so is out of the way too.

I think you will find it is the FM aerial for one of the old LoKata RDF sets. No reason why it should not work as the FM aerial for another reciever as far as I know.

I know a Westerly Berwick with one behind the headlining. I put it there when I was crewing!
