I have an LM 27 Motorsailor and, for whatever reason, she was fitted with non-standard pushpit sections. They are fitted inboard of the toe-rail and so restrict movement around the cockpit when the hood is in position.
I should like to replace them with a pair of the original type which fit directly on to the toe-rail with through bolts.
Does anyone know of the company that made the original type for the LM27 (which are probably the same as the later Scanyacht)? I know the boats were made at one time by Cygnus Marine in Penryn Cornwall but I don't think the company still exists as boat-builders.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
